On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Kastelbell bypass was officially opened. The tunnel has a length of 2,498 meters. Thanks to the efficient and successful planning by IGT, the residents of Kastelbell-Tschars in the Vinschgau Valley, South Tyrol, have now gained greater safety and peace of mind. For this project, IGT, in a joint venture with Pfeifer & Partners GmbH, provided the following services: tender and construction planning, as well as geotechnical engineering.
