2023
Following the departure of Andreas Leitner from the management board at the end of 2022, Dietmar Bach, Christian Kitzler and Bernhard Kohlböck remain as managing directors. Zafer Ekici, Daniel Koch, Manfred Praxl and Hans-Peter Seidl join as shareholders of IGT.

2018
A further change in our management team took place with the retirement of Werner Ramspacher at the end of 2017. The engineering office is re-formed with directors Andreas Leitner, Christian Kitzler, Dietmar Bach, Bernhard Kohlböck and partner Zafer Ekici.

2012
On 1st January 2012, Dipl.-Ing. Nejad Ayaydin retired as managing director and passed on the role to Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Leitner. At the same time, Dipl.-Ing. Dietmar Bach and Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Kohlböck became partners.

1988
Prof. Dr. Franz Pacher began his retirement. The manegement of the company was taken over by Dipl.-Ing. Nejad Ayaydin and his closest colleagues. In the following years Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Leitner, Dipl.-Ing. Werner Ramspacher and Dipl.-Ing. Christian Kitzler joined the management team.

The continuous expansion of the company’s fields of operations required the restructuring of the company into a partnership, lead by Prof. Dr. Franz Pacher and Dipl.-Ing. Nejad Ayaydin.

1966
After Dr. Leopold Müllers became professor for rock mechanics at the University of Karlsruhe, Prof. Dr. Franz Pacher took over management of the office. This was the year the engineering office Geotechnik und Tunnelbau came into existence. Between 1960 and 1974, the office worked in close co-operation with Prof. Dr. Ladislaus v. Rabcewicz. This lead the the development of the “new Austrian tunnelling method“ (NATM).

1952
Dipl.-Ing. Franz Pacher joined “Ingenieurbüro für Geologie und Bauwesen”, which had been founded in 1948 by Dr. Leopold Müller. Intensive research in the following years lead to the establishment of the new scientific branch of rock mechanics.
