IGT at the Austrian-Israeli Transport Infrastructure Forum in Tel Aviv
A transport infrastructure forum was organised by the Tel Aviv branch of the Austrian chamber of commerce as part of an official state visit by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen in Israel. The President was accompanied by a range of renowned Austrian companies. In the infrastructure sector, and particularly tunnelling, Austrian technical expertise plays a significant international role, whereas Israel is a leader in innovation in the technology sector, leading to a situation ripe for exchange and cooperation. Israeli-Austrian economic relations have developed very positively in recent years and promise excellent opportunities for Austrian companies in the future.
IGT director Dietmar Bach met with representatives of the the Israeli construction industry and with decision makers from the the Ministry of Transport.
