Start of tunnelling at the northbound bore of the Rudersdorf tunnel
Mined tunnelling of the northbound bore of the Rudersdorf tunnel began at 18.30 on 26th June 2019.
The new twin-bore express road tunnel is the first tunnel in the Austrian federal state Burgenland and forms the core of the S7 Fürstenfelder express road, which is also under construction.
